IGNOU - Postgraduate Certificate in Cyber Law (PGCCL)

School of Law, IGNOU is offering the Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law in two modes: Virtual Education in Law (VEL) & Open Distance Learning(ODL).The main objectives of the programme are: l To enable learners to understand, explore, and acquire a critical understanding of Cyber Law l To develop competencies for dealing with frauds, deceptions (confidence tricks, scams) and other cyber crimes such as child pornography, that are taking place via Internet. l To make learners conversant with the social and intellectual property issues emerging from 'cyberspace'. l To explore the legal and policy developments in various countries to regulate cyberspace. l To develop an understanding of relationship between commerce and cyberspace. l To provide learners an in-depth knowledge of Information Technology Act and legal framework of Right to Privacy Data Security and Data Protection.
